Dear Monica, RT and Family,

My sincerely condolences on the passing of your mom, grandma, sister, aunt, niece and cousin.

Stephanie is a very dear friend and I will miss her terribly. Over the last 4 weeks, since my visit with her on March 2, 2016, as dear friends do, we shared many things. We talked about life and end of life...she told me she was not afraid. I told her, she need not be and then I told her why.

I told her that our Lord loved her and was so proud of her because of who she was as a person and then because of how strong her faith was. I told her that she would be going to a better place, free of illness and whole once again. She knew this... I told her to save a place for me and to meet me at the gate, when it is my time. She said she would meet me there and I believe her!

Talking to Stephanie over the last several weeks was very different for both of us....it is like, what am I going to say to my dear friend that will be going home to heaven? I asked her if she wanted to pray with me and she said "Yes, absolutely, I would like that very much". And so we did.....

This is the prayer we prayed together along with The Lord's Prayer and The Act of Contrition.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17

We also had the opportunity to tell each other that we cherished what we had together and always ended our conversation with I love you!

Like all of you, I wish things could be different. We never have enough time with those that mean the most to us and Stephanie was that person for me.

Distance kept us from seeing each other regularly, but, I will miss our weekly, sometimes twice a week phone calls to just chat and catch up.

She was so proud of her family, especially her grandchildren, Lorenzo and Kyleigh.

It is very unfortunate for me that I won't be able to get back for the funeral service, I do not normally work on Saturdays, however, I am required to be at a conference Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

I am very glad I had the chance to visit with Stephanie just about 4 weeks ago. I will miss seeing each of you, especially, Monica and RT as it has been many years since I have seen either of you.

If you are ever near my home in Ohio, close to (Cedar Point Area) please know that you are always welcome to stay with us as a family or just stop in for a visit. RT has my number and my address is: Judi and Norm Kostelansky...198 Beachwood Ave. Avon Lake, OH 44012

Know that I am there in spirit and I will be thinking and praying for all of you during this most difficult time.

Fondly,

Judi Kostelansky
