Albert Jefferson Weathers Jr

Albert Jefferson Weathers Jr., 83, of Monessen, passed away on January 4, 2022 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1938 to the late Albert and Mary (Sekino) Weathers in Homestead, PA. Albert was a retired truck driver and was currently working for Securitas at World Kitchen in Charleroi. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus council 954, was an avid bowler and enjoyed to hunt and fish. Albert is survived by his loving wife of 11 years Angeline (DiMatteo) Weathers; three daughters Kimberly (Barry) Ober of Latrobe, Diane (Bradford) Beard of Louisiana, Allison (Larry) Harkins of Irwin; a son, Douglas (Deana) Weathers of Pleasant Hills; brother, Edward Weathers of Tennessee; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie and Dolly and two brothers, Johnny and Bobby. A blessing service will be held on Saturday January 8th at 2pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue Monessen, PA. with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Following the blessing service friends will be received until 5pm. The Knights of Columbus will hold a service at 5pm. Entombment will be held at a later date.
