Andrew J. Sedory Jr

Andrew J. Sedory Jr. 95 of Monessen on Friday December 28, 2012 in Mon Valley Care Center. Born in Lebanon Pa. on August 7 1917 he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Smertka Sedory Sr. Andy retired from the cindering department of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Co. Monessen Plant. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society , the Monessen Elks and Slovak Home. He served his country in the US Army during WW II earning 3 bronze stars. Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife Mary Grace Manderino Sedory, three brothers Edward, Joseph and Vincent and two sisters Sr. Mary Rosaire and Mary P Yursco. He is survived by a niece Gerogene and her husband Thomas Whipkey of Perryopolis and a great niece Lauren Whipkey of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A.
