Dorothy Rose (Novosielski) Baker

Dorothy Rose Baker 89, of Monessen on Thursday January 26 2017 in Washington County Health Center. Born in Monessen on August 30 1927 she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Bertha Bozym Novosielski. She worked for many years in the Agnes Dress Shop in Monessen. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Harry Robert Baker, four brothers Frank, Walter, Zigmund and Leonard Novosielski and four sisters Lottie Opatkiewicz, Lillian Wojcik, Stella Andrews and Evelyn Martinow. She is survived by a daughter Carol Kordistos of Monessen and two sons Robert and Thomas Baker. Three grandchildren Zachary Kordistos, Ryan Baker and Megan Baker. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com A blessing service will be held on Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 10 am funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, interment will follow in St Hyacinth's Cemetery.
