Douglas Paul Latkanich Sr. of Foley AL formally of Monessen and Donora on Sunday May 6, 2012 in Foley AL. He is the son of the late Michael and Sophia Latkanich. Mr latkanich was a Untied States Navy Veteran. He was Orthodox by Faith. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Latkanich. He is survived by His wife of over Fifty Three years Melba Latkanich of Foley AL. one Daughter Michelle Vingas of Monessen. One son Douglas Paul Latkanich II of Foley AL. Five Grandsons Anthony Vingas of Wisconsin, Nicholas and Joseph Vingas of Monessen, Douglas III and Dominic Latkanich of Belle Vernon, Nephew Thomas and Wife Jo Ann Latkanich of Belle Vernon, Sister-in-law Margaret Latkanich of Monessen, An Aunt Eleanor Sebyanics of Tampa Florida and several Great Neices and Nephews. Panachida services will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Service in St. John The Divine Orthodox Church with Fr. Rumen Stoychev Officiating , interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Parastas service will be held Friday at 7PM in the funeral home.
