Elizabeth A Dankovcik

Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Dankovcik, 95, of Monessen, died Saturday, May 12, 2018 in her residence. Born in Monessen on Sept. 10, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Suzanna Kruppa Dankovcik. She was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church. She retired as a secretary and librarian for Monessen School District. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers. John, Andrew and Michael Dankovcik; and one sister, Suzanne Dankovcik. She is survived by a sister, Agnes Billick of Monessen; a sister-in-law. Olga Dankovcik of Monessen; two nephews, John and Sandy Dankovcik of South Gate Mich., David Dankovcik of Monessen; one niece, Beth and James Salathe of Greensburg; a great-niece and nephew, Brittani Salathe and Brian Dankovcik; and a great-great-nephew, Cooper Caulfield. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm in the ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME, Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com . Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Father John Nosal officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
