Janice L. Lefevre

Janice L. Lefevre, 76, of Monessen passed away on Thursday July 3, 2025, in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on August 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Koslik) Marcinkiewicz. Janice was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church and was a 1966 Graduate of Monessen High School. Janice enjoyed helping people as a Nurses Aid at the former Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Janice came from a humble ethnic back ground raised on McMahon Ave and Vine St. She was always a loving and giving person who was close with her aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her aunt Pearl Marcinkiewicz. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Edwin Lefevre, whom she married in Holy Name Church on September 8, 1971, she had numerous friends throughout the Mon Valley area. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd & Marion Ave. Monessen has been entrusted with the arrangements. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday July10th, at 10 am at the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, interment will follow in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery.
