Lois Elaine (Pile) Mihalich

Lois E. Mihalich 85 of Monessen on Tuesday June 2 2015 in her daughters home in Burke Va. Born in Jenners Twp PA. on Augusts 8 1929 she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Burdella Johnston Pile. She was a retired Westmoreland County Community College Professor. She was a member of the NEA, PSEA were she served as President and Treasure, First Families of Western PA. 1810, the Western PA. Genealogical Society and the Somerset CO. Historical Society. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband House Representative Herman Mihalich Sr. She is survived by two daughters Gwen Kinsey and Kathryn Mihalich both of Burke VA. Two sons and daughters in law James and Jane Mihalich of Shrewsbury MA and Herman and Val Mihalich of New Hope PA. Six grandchildren Brieann Kinsey, Matt and his wife Marta, Alex, Neil and his wife Allison, Nico and Adam Mihalich. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com funeral services will be held on Saturday and 10:30 am in the funeral home interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Monessen Public Library.
