Marcella Jean (Smith) Surovchak

Marcella Jean Surovchak, 86, of Woodstock GA, formerly of Rostraver Twp., passed away on March 21, 2023 at The Reserve at Towne Lake, Woodstock, Georgia.  She was born on May 3, 1936 to the late Chester and Stella (Creevy) Smith in Monessen. Marci attended St. Leonard's Catholic School, Graduated from Monessen High School with the class of 1954, was a member of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, and the Red Hat Society. She loved spending time with her family, reading, and cross-stitching. She Married Richard J. Surovchak in January 1957 and they had four boys. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin (Kimberly) Surovchak of Woodstock, GA, Scott (Gloria) Surovchak of Arvada, CO; daughter in law, Tami Surovchak of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Jessica, Allyson, Casey, Jake & Dakota Surovchak, Theodor J., Joseph McAleer; great grandchildren, Eloise Mae, Graysen, Lylah McAleer, Elle & Clark. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Surovchak, two sons, William and Robert Surovchak, two brothers, Lloyd Bubar & Gerald Smith, and her sister, Marlyn Nader. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue Monessen, Pennsylvania. Friends and family are asked to meet at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Rd. Bridgeville, PA 15017 on Monday at 11 am where services will be held with Father David J.
