Mary (Fizer) Delare

Mary Delare, 94, of Monessen, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Mary was born in Monessen on October 24, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Mike and Mary (Fordanich) Fizer. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bingo and going to the casino. She also enjoyed making craft items for her family. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen, She was preceded in death by her husband George Delare, daughter Jean Davies and son-in-law Rob Davies as well as 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include 3 sisters, Helen Fizer, Evelyn (Lloyd) Shepler of Monessen and Marge Alexshonk of Canton, Ohio as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from.6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com. A blessing service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 10 am funeral mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery
