Michael A. Gnora, 66, of Monessen died peacefully on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in Jefferson Hospital.
Born in New Eagle on May 1, 1959, he was the son of the late Mike and Sue Caprio Gnora. Mike was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church and retired from World Kitchen. He was an avid bowler and golfer, but he most enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Gnora. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Pacak Gnora; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen and Ricky Tyburski, Stacey and RJ Danko, and Kimberly and Robert Ciotola; and a sister and brother-in-law, Michele Gnora Roesch and Douglas Roesch. He was the proud grandfather of Victoria, Charlotte, Trace, Tanner, Bobby, and Rome. Mike is also survived by his mother in law Martha Pacak, three brothers in law, Andrew and Dawn, Robb and Janet and Paul Pacak along with several nieces and nephews..
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave., Monessen.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday beginning with a Panachida at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. church service at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Norrell officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Parastas prayer services will be held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
