Mildred F. (Fugger) Palmer

Mildred F. Palmer 94 of Bethesda MD. formerly of Monessen Monday April 17 in her home. Born in Slovenia on September 3 1922 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Rotar Fugger. She was a 1940 Graduate of Monessen High School, a 1945 graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She Retired after 22 years of service as a Lt. Commander for the US Navy. She was a 1960 graduate from Columbia University Teachers College. She was Catholic by faith. She is survived by seven nieces and nephews Scott (Lisa) Fugger of Pleasant Hills, Stacy ( Michael) Fatale of Waltham MA. Hunter (Lisa) Fugger of Columbus OH, Holly (Jerry) Pannullo of Kensington MD, Avril (Ted) Donat of Fairfax VA, Carol Fugger of Monroeville PA and Heather Fugger of Wilmington DE and 3 grand nephews and 5 grand nieces. Friends will be received on Saturday from 11 am until 12 noon in the Robert A Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave. Monessen. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 12 noon with Fr. Michael Crookston Officiating entombment will follow in Grandview cemetery.
