Peter Thomas Agrafiotis, 85, of Carroll Township, passed away at home on Friday, March 13, 2026, after a long illness surrounded by his family.
Pete was a graduate of Donora High School and West Penn Technical Institute.
A skilled draftsman, Pete was employed at US Steel Corporation in McKeesport, and later at Lee Norse Corporation in Charleroi.
Pete served his Country as an Army reservist for many years.
Pete was an avid sportsman and gardener, who loved spending time outdoors.
His other passions included restoring classic automobiles, a love and skill he pursued as a vocation.
Pete was the son of the late Thomas and Eva Agrafiotis. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marina, and his son, Thomas P. Agrafiotis, Esquire.
Pete is also survived by his sister, Mary (Sam) Doris, and sisters-in-law, Sophia Papantonakis and Chris (Gene) Johnston, as well as brother-in-law, Michael Papantonakis.
In addition, Pete is survived by his nephew, Nick (Stavroula) Doris, and by many cousins, including Joanna Gatsiopoulous and family and Cynthia (Martin) Kostelnik and family, and by many friends.
Pete was Greek Orthodox by faith, having been involved with many activities at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Monessen throughout his life.
Pete’s family expresses its gratitude to our Amedysis Hospice friends, including all the aides, nurses, and administrators, who have been of great assistance to us over the past year.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Robert A. Billick Funeral Home, Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen.
Friends will be welcomed for visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, March 19. Trisagion Service will be held at 7pm in the Funeral Home
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, March 20, at 10 a.m., at the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church with Father Meletios Gianniodis officiating.
Interment will follow at the Monongahela Cemetery located on Country Club Road in Carroll Township.
