Ronald M Remish

Ronald Michael Remish, born December 23, 1939, in Monessen, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 14, 2025. He was 85 years old.

Ron was a proud resident of Monessen in his early life before moving to West Newton, PA. A graduate of Monessen High School, Ron forged a successful career as a self-employed entrepreneur owning a local family market in Lock Four, PA, two (2) local restaurants, and a catering business. He also rehabilitated several properties into residential apartments. He cared deeply about his many tenants as a landlord for the past 50 years.

Throughout his life, Ron was known for his unwavering work ethic, sharp wit, and warm presence. Whether offering advice, sharing stories from his youth, or lending a helping hand, he impacted the lives of many with his humility and heart. He took great pride in his family and friends, passing down traditions, values, and memories that will continue to live on through those who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ana Mae Remish and Joseph Remish, and survived by his sister Rita Robyak (Albert, deceased), nephew Richard Robyak (Kim), great niece Haley Robyak, and great nephew Andrew Robyak, and many cousins. Ron was a Godfather to several relatives and friends, who cherish his legacy and hold his memory close.

In lieu of a funeral visitation, family and friends will be received at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen, PA at 9:30 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in Holy Name Cemetery. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
