Rosalie J. Salak, 91, of Monessen, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 in Hallsworth House.She was born on February 17, 1934 in Brownsville, the daughter of the late Thomas and Beatrice (Lutz) Robinsky.She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Charleroi.She was retired from Westmoreland County Drug and Alcohol Commission.She was survived by her daughter, Doris Opalinski of Arnold, PA; two sons, Thomas (Cindy) Salak of Monessen, Michael Salak of Myrtle Beach, SC; four granddaughters, TediLee Sweeney of Lower Burrell, Chelesey (Joe) Kielbach of Pleasant Hills, Shelly (Matthew) Rhome of Monessen, Carrie (Brian) Anderson of Belle Vernon; two grandsons, Adam Opalinski of Dover, DE, Brian (Kayli) Salak of South Park; Seven great-granddaughters, Scarlett Kielbach, Mallory (Ennis Najam) Sweeney, Addison Opalinski, Audrey Rhome, Abigail Rhome, Caitlynn Anderson, Kayla Opalinski; Five great-grandsons, Benino Salak, Miles Kielbach Heath Kielbach William Sweeney, Zachary Anderson; great great-granddaughter, MiaLee Najam In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband William Salak; daughter, Janet Lee Stevenson, son, Frank Salak.Friends will be received Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. & Marion Avenue, Monessen .Services will be held on Friday, beginning at 10;00 am in the funeral home, with Pastor Randy Orr and Pastor Lori Walters officiating.
