Rosemarie Paterra, devout Catholic, passed away on the morning of April 10th, 2026. This date marked the end of her long battle with frontal temporal dementia and her journey home to Heaven. She was born on July 14th, 1944 in Monessen, PA and lived a beautiful life. Rosemarie married her husband, David Paterra in 1965 and together they raised four amazing children: Christine, Paul, Carrie (Travis), and David (Angela), later, relocating to Steubenville, Ohio. Rosemarie was also a grandmother of eight to Mark (Emilee), Melina, Mackenzie, Eliana, Dominic, Anthony, Ava, and Frank. Each of them will forever know her as Nonna. She is survived by her siblings Sandy, Josephine, and Don. She has joined her parents, William and Rose, and her brother Billy, in Heaven. In 1998, Rosemarie moved to Henderson, NV, where she spent nearly two decades serving her community as a CNA and serving the Lay Carmelite Order. As a proud daughter of Italian immigrant parents, Rosemarie was truly passionate about all aspects of her Italian heritage. She adored cooking in her kitchen and gathering her beloved family for home cooked meals. Rosemarie's life was centered in her Catholic Faith. She loved Jesus and her family more than anything. She was an inspirational, remarkable, and selfless person. Rosemarie Paterra spent her entire life looking forward to being held in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will forever be missed, but she is finally Home. Friends will be received on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Robert A.
