Sophie Ward

Sophie Ward 92 formerly of Monessen on Thursday July 19 2012 in Shepard of the Valley Personal Care Home Niles Ohio. Born in Monessen on December 19 1919 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Rosa Naccarato. Sophie was an self-employed beautician , a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Besides her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Francis "Frank" Ward. Five sisters Jean Thompson, Rose Naccarato, Josephine Kuhar, Maire Kilpatrick and Augustine Luketich, and one brother Fred Naccarato. She is survived by one son and daughter in law Gregory F and Jo Ann Ward of Niles Ohio, one grandson Gregory and his wife Candice Ward Jr. of Mc Donald Ohio, one granddaughter Michelle and her husband Anthony Smith of Reynoldsville Ohio. Four Great grandchildren, Rachelle and Megan Ward, and Gavin and Marly Smith. Two Sisters Lillian Gala of Monessen and Margaret Single of Arizona. Friends will be received on Monday July 23 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen (724) 684-3700 www.billicksfuneralhome.com . A Blessing will be held on Monday at 10:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 11 am Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
