Stamatia "Tommie" Kosko

Stamatia “Tommie” Kosko, 78, of Monessen, Passed peacefully on Friday, December 26, at home with her family by her side. Born in N. Charleroi on April 7, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Isadore and Virginia (Gianiodis) Moundros, and step daughter of the late Emilio (Milly) Mauro. She was a life long member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church. Tommie was also active with the National Philoptochos Greek Ladies Aid Society, Hellenic Ladies, Chios Society Proodos of Pittsburgh, Daughters of Scotia, St Spyridon Aux Catering, and she served many years in the Monessen Lions Club serving as Recording Secretary. Alongside her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Kosko. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, George and Monica (Cooper) Kosko of Forward Twp, a daughter and son in law, Elizabeth (Kosko) and Jonathan Cole of Monessen. Grandchildren, Cody and Wife Kelsie, Belle, Ariauna, Madison, Bolden, Cooper, great granddaughter, Calista, and step grandsons, Eric and Dylan; Four sisters, Toni Marinos (late Samuel) of Belle Vernon, PA, Callie Karas (late Peter) of Galena, OH, Fran Dimitrion (James) of Waretown, NJ, and Joyce Pateras (Angelo) of Fountain Hills, AZ; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received on Friday, January 2, from 3 pm until 7 pm in the Robert A Billick Funeral Home Inc., Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave., Monessen. Additional Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, from 9 am until time of Services at 10 am in St. Spyridon Orthodox Church with FR. Meletios Gianniodis Officiating.
