Died Stanley (Stash) Nickolich, 86 of Brownsville, formerly of Monessen, on Saturday September 14 2013. Born In Monessen on July 9 1927 he was the son of the late Michael and Rose Olsavick Nickolich. He was a member of St. John the Divine Orthodox Church. A US Army veteran of WW II and avid softball player. Stash devoted many hours to the children of Monessen coaching Little League Baseball with one of his teams going to the Little League World Series. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Co. Monessen Plant. Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife Anna J. Grese Nickolich, a son Stanley M. Nickolich, and two sisters Kathryn Kerestan and Evangeline Radich. He is survived by a Daughter Cindy Ann Vigliotti of Daisytown. Six Grandchildren Dr. Myles and his wife Dr. Sarah Nickolich of Durham NC, Shane Nickolich of Pittsburgh, Anthony "Fuji" and his wife Kristin Vigliotti of Monessen, Giovanni Miguel Vigliotti of Daisytown , Anna Marie Vigliotti of Charleroi and Bianca Mia Vigliotti of Daisytown. Two great grandchildren, Anthony and Tristin Vigliotti. Two Brothers Bernard and Marie Nickolich of IN. and Melvin and Georgette Nickolich of Monessen numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.
