Steve Saflin

Steve Saflin 86 of North Charleroi on Tuesday September 1 2015 in the Residence at Hilltop. Born in N. Charleroi on December 26 1928 he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Martinich Saflin. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Steve was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, A Member of St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, the Monessen Elks 773 and the Croatian Club. Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by two brothers Robert and Michael Saflin and three sisters Charlotte Saflin, Mildred Rauchfuss and Mary Gregula. He is survived by one son and daughter in law Steve and Stephanie Saflin of Woodlands TX, two daughters and a son in law Pam Fisher of NC and Joy and Tom Havadich of Rostraver Twp. Four grand Children Shannon Fisher of FL, Stephen (Marquette) Saflin of FL, Seth Saflin and Sarah Saflin both of TX. Three great grandchildren Ethan, Mason and Sloan Saflin. One Brother and sister in law Joseph and Genève Saflin of Fredericktown. Friends will be received on Thursday from 3 until 7 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.
