Thomas George Zupan

Thomas George Zupan, 62, of Monessen, passed away on April 1, 2025, in Kadima Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born on December 10, 1962, Tom was a lifelong resident of Monessen, PA. As a child, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life — camping with family, riding his banana bike - Tom was the first to get a bike amongst the six children, and hanging on “The Hill” with his friends. These early experiences were filled with laughter, curiosity and the kind of freedom that defined his spirit. Those who knew Tom will remember him for his love of the sun, especially at the beach, for his sense of humor at family gatherings, and especially the love he held for his son, “Little Tommy” and his wife Melissa who went before him in September 2023. Tom is survived by beloved son, Thomas A. Zupan who was the light of his life. He also leaves behind five siblings: Katherine Z. (Meredith) Nicolls of Norfolk, VA, John M. (Jodie) Zupan of Donora, Adam W. Zupan, Robert J. Zupan both of Monessen, Rose A. (Jeffrey) Wilson of Avon, IN, mother-in-law Carol Macko of Monessen as well as a niece, Gianna A. Zupan of Donora and two nephews, Robert J. Zupan and Christopher J. Zupan of Pittsburgh and extended family and friends. His family would like to thank the staff at The Grove Nursing home for the care and comfort they gave to Tom during his final days. Tom found eternal peace alongside his wife Melissa and his parents John and Adele. A private service was held Friday April 11th at 11:30 am at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home in Monessen, PA.
