William F. Mitnick

William F. Mitnick 81 of Monessen passed away on Friday August 18, 2017 in Havencrest Nursing Facility. Born in Monessen on August 23, 1935 he was the son of the late Paul and Louise Mitnick. William was a U.S. Army National Guard Veteran and he was Presbyterian by faith. William was an avid baseball player, fan and coach playing and coaching in various leagues around the Mon Valley. He is survived by three Nieces Linda DeZardo of Monessen, Janis (Frank) Garofalo of Greensburg, Tami Matay of Belle Vernon and several Great Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Wife Helen Mitnick and a sister Dorothy Murin Diethorn. Visitation will be held Monday August 21 from 4 PM until 8 PM in the Robert A.
