Peter R Stefansky

Peter R Stefansky 98 of Steubenville formerly of Monessen on Tuesday March 29 in the Laurels of Steubenville. Born in Monessen on September 17 1917 he was the son of the late Roman and Eva Dudich Stefansky. he retired from American Chain and Cable Pages Plant. He was a former member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church. Pete served his country in the US army during WW II. Besides his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife Loretta Stefansky three sisters  Irene Sowko, Mary Kostic Ann Devenport and five brothers Paul, Alex, Sam, Mike and Steve Stefansky.  . He is survived by  one son and daughter in law Peter and Janice Stefansky of Weirton W. VA. Three grandchildren Peter and Marion Stefansky of Washington PA., Sonya Stefansky and fiancé Jay McCelland of Weirton WV and Brianna and Jay Perry of Toronto Ohio. Three great grandchildren Alan, Maria and Abigail Stefansky, and one sister Olga Rendos of Monessen. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc. Grand Blvd and Marion Ave Monessen www.billicksfuneralhome.com a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am in the Funeral Home Followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass in the Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
