Raymond (Randy) U. Margarcelli, 56, of Monessen, passed away on January 12, 2022 at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. He was born on November 29, 1965 to Fred and Elizabeth (Shelasky) Margarcelli in Bethesda, MD. Randy devoted his life to helping people, he worked as a Paramedic for Mon Valley EMS, Tri County Ambulance and Rostraver West Newton EMS, he also was an instructor, teaching many first aid and life saving classes.Raymond is survived by his loving wife Lori (Bish)...

To me, well, Opes was like a 2nd dad, wrapped up in a best friend, and teacher. We spent many shifts talking about anything and everything. We've laughed, cried, fought, made up, broke bread, and saved a life or two along the way.
He pushed me to advance my skills and drug me through AEMT class because he knew I could do it. He was the 2nd person to know the day I passed my exams
Lori, Dietrich, Taryn, Amber, and Grace... He loved you all so much and was very proud of his family. My love and prayers to you all.
Opes .. I will always love you. Thank you for just being you. I'll see you at the big one.

I FIRST MET RANDY WHEN HE WAS HIRED AS A PARAMEDIC AT MONESSEN AMBULANCE SERVICE BACK IN THE 1980's. EVER SINCE THEN, I HAVE CONSIDERED HIM AS A TRUE FRIEND, EXCELLENT PARAMEDIC, PARTNER, & INSTRUCTOR. WE SHARED MANY MANY MEMORIES FROM BOTH OUR PROFESSIONAL & SOCIAL LIFE. WHEN WE WORKED TOGETHER AS A CREW, I KNEW HE WOULD BE MY RIGHT HAND. I WILL SINCERELY MISS MY FRIEND; BUT RELISH THE FACT THAT WE WILL MEET AGAIN. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU RANDY. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.....
